Tips:
* It’s really easy to make space for nature through creation of a mini woodland, a mini orchard or a pond on your land
* If you have an area of your farm that’s wild and you don’t use, this can be developed as your Hare’s Corner.
* If you don’t have a natural wetland or pond on your land, it’s not too difficult to create one. It would do so much good and you’d be surprised what insects, birds and animals it could attract.
* The Burren Beo Trust provides advice and support to anyone in Clare and also Mayo if they wish to develop and Hare’s Corner. Funding support is also available to help you develop your wildlife pond or plan for nature.
