Who is Just Stop Oil?
- Just Stop Oil is a climate activism organisation calling for the UK government to stop licensing all new oil, gas and coal projects.
- They are the group that threw soup over Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and cake smashed a wax figure of King Charles III.
- Amy Rose Friel O’Donnell, who hails from Milford, worked full time with the organisation as a mobilizer and took part in more headline protests in her spare time.
Getting involved in Climate Activism.
After talking to some TY students at Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny, some felt Just Stop Oil went too far and didn’t agree with their approach.
