The collective efforts made by schools across Ireland produce impressive environmental results. The latest survey was carried out on the calender year of 2020, where the schools who took part in the award:
- Diverted 2,500 tonnes of waste from landfill
- Saved 592 million litres of water
- Saved 4.4 million litres of heating oil
- Saved over 29 million units of electricity
- Lowered traffic related emissions at the school gate by walking, cycling and scooting to school
- Planted 2,799 native trees
