Youth Climate Justice aims to:
- raise environmental awareness, understanding and knowledge of the environment among young people.
- promote the protection and conservation of the environment.
- promote the personal development of young people through practical environmental projects and activities.
This conference emphasised that although the students have not created the problem, they can play a part in resolving it. Actions young people can take for climate justice:
- register to vote
- consider careers in sustainability
- get active early
- get vocal/be inspirational
