In this episode Max looks at alternatives to travelling by car to school.
Councillor for Bray, Melanie Corrigan says the new eBike scheme by Bolt is already reaping benefits:
- Increasing the uptake in cycling and promoting active mobility across the town.
- Decreasing congestion.
- Improving air quality.
Here are some tips for a more sustainable trip to school:
- Be weather ready: Once you have the proper rain gear taking a more active route to and from school is a great way to start and end the day.
- Walk, run, skip, cycle, scoot, skate….get active and have fun.
- Use public transport.
- Get friends involved, why not set up a walking train with other children heading your way.
- Car pool. Share school drop-offs and collections with another family. Save time. Save money. Save the emissions.
