Why it’s important!
- The European average waste produced per person is 527kg.
- By aiming for 0% waste growth, it is the equivalent to an effective 7-10% reduction in predicted waste generation by 2030.
- The combined effect of these interventions has the potential to prevent 300,000 tonnes of waste over the life of this Plan
