In 2015, members of the community in Dunleer in County Louth came together to establish the Dunleer Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) a member of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) SEC network.
The Group’s vision was to provide leadership to communities on addressing the challenges of climate change through informing people on actions they can take, the retrofitting of homes and the generation of renewable energy.
