Síolta Chroí are based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and aim to restore Ireland’s ecosystems and communities.

The group plan to do this through three unique strands:

  1. Education focused on regenerative cultures
  2. Exploring resilient and regenerative food systems
  3. Carrying out ecosystem restoration work

Síolta Chroí works with farmers as they believe farmers are the key to restoring ecosystems and mitigate climate change.

They will run a 4-week course in November on regenerative agriculture and really want to get farmers from Monaghan, Louth, Meath, Cavan and the surrounding areas involved to build a network of farmers restoring our ecosystem.

This week, we spoke to Gareth Conlon from Síolta Chroí’s Operations Team.
