Did you know?
- Enniscorthy Community Allotments group are made up of locals from the community who wish to grow fresh produce, propagate horticulture and create friendly environment for local community to meet.
- We wish to enhance the lives of all involved socially, mentally and physically. We hope that our project will stimulate social interaction, encourage self-reliance and promote sustainable growing and healthy eating.
- We hope to produce nutritious food and help reduce family food budgets.
- We wish to promote organic and chemical free growing.
Since our last visit
- In November they won runners up in the IPB Pride of Place awards in Armagh 1st prize for “Best Community Environment Initiative” in the keep Wexford beautiful environmental awards.
- In October they launched the Training Geodesic Dome and Sensory Area at Enniscorthy Community Allotments. Minister Heather Humphreys spoke to a large crowd with great praise for the project. As a keen gardener herself, she appreciated the great work that had been put into this initiative.
- Nominated for the all island competition Pride of Place 2023.
- Received a Civil Recognition award in July
