In this episode, we’ll be discussing National Biodiversity Week which gets underway today (May 16th).

This special national event is all about connecting us with nature, communicating the importance of biodiversity and providing motivation to play out part in protecting it.

It’s also about entertainment and finding fun and wonder outdoors with ten days of celebration!

We’ll hear first from some students at Mary Immaculate Secondary School in Lisdoonvarna in North Clare, who have some questions about this very important issue.

Then we’ll chat with Barry O’Loughlin, Biodiversity Officer with Clare County Council.
