For this week’s episode we look at how the hospitality sector can take action to help the environment by visiting the Limerick Strand Hotel. This four star hotel in Limerick city has adopted a sustainable policy that has resulted in them winning the Eco Label Awards.
The hotel is making an active effort to reduce its carbon footprint and has partnered with Green Tourism, a hospitality specialist environment accreditation. This means the hotel completes audits to help become more environmentally friendly.
