Ours To Protect – Rineanna Biodiversity Garden

* ‘Low-mow’ means low or restricted mowing. A low-mow zone is an area that is only mowed once or twice a year, leaving native plants and grasses to grow.

* Leaving even a small ‘Low-mow’ or ‘No-mow’ area in a section of your garden will do some good.

* Engagement with local groups and schools has been very important to this project.

* If you have a large area you want to designate for biodiversity, get an expert or someone with some knowledge of plants, flowers, insects etc to see whether you have anything of particular interest or somerhing rare in your garden/on your land.
