Radio Kerry

Radio Kerry is Kerry’s local radio station. It was established in 1990 and broadcasts from studio’s in Tralee and Killarney.
The station has a full service license and its content includes news, current affairs, specialist speech programming, sport, music and Irish language programmes.
Its tag line is the “Voice of the Kingdom” and the stations hopes to be a means by which the people of Kerry tell their own story. Listener interaction is encouraged across both its radio and digital media. Radio Kerry broadcasts on five frequencies – 96.2, 96.6, 97.0, 97.2 and 97.6FM on can be live streamed on our website www.radiokerry.ie , on our app or on smart speakers.
Radio Kerry has been named Local Radio Station of the Year on 5 occasions and has won numerous awards for programming.
We are a member of Learning Waves and of IBI ( Independent Broadcasters of Ireland ) and are supportive of all industry initiatives such as the “Ours to Protect” series.
Radio Kerry runs a year long training course on Digital Journalism, Podcasting and Radio Broadcasting in association with Kerry College.
We also support Independent producers through the Sound and Vision Scheme.
Radio Kerry also owns Shannonside/ Northern Sound Radio station.
